For whom: CMO’s, Marketers and Brand Managers working with advertising agencies, with their own in-house brand teams or working independently as brand entrepreneurs.
 
Course objective: To empower and inspire marketers to build better brands – whether introducing a new brand or refreshing an existing one. The workshop will also help marketers collaborate better with agency creatives and designers throughout the brand development process.

An overview of the latest global trends in consumer behaviour and branding, from activism to authenticity and goat yoga.
— Building a strong brand platform.
What is a Brand Platform? How to create a strong platform for your brand that is original, strategic, consistent and agile.
— Finding an authentic brand purpose.
What is Brand Purpose? How to identify and create an authentic purpose for your brand.
— Discovering new brand opportunities.
Tips and advice on how to think creatively to find new opportunities for your brand via target groups, human insights, innovation and smart strategic positionings.

Teachers

Clare McNally
Brand Strategist & Copywriter
Lecturer at DMJX Copenhagen
Clare McNally works with a collective of talented creatives building fun, flexible and long-term brand platforms. Clare is also a Guest Lecturer at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in Brand Creation, Art Direction, and Portfolio Presentation. She gives workshops to companies about strategic creativity and has been a guest speaker at a variety of industry events, including the What’s Next conference in Vilnius in 2017, where she spoke about Brand Innovation.
 
Clare was previously Creative Director at Konstellation & Republica in Copenhagen and a copywriter at a variety of international advertising agencies including TBWA Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg and 180 Amsterdam. Her work has won international recognition at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, D&AD, The One Show, Archive, and Shots. She has been a jury member at the Cannes Festival of Creativity (2017), Eurobest (2016) and the Balticbest Awards (2017).
