THE ATOMIC GARDEN VILNIUS, in collaboration with NERINGA MUNICIPALITY, ASSOCIATION KLAIPEDA REGION, & LITHUANIAN RAILWAYS, is organizing CREATIVE BRIEF CONTEST – a creativity marathon of four days and four nights on the seaside of Lithuania with the purpose of discovering future advertising talents.

– Starting with a journey by train from Vilnius with the process of preparation on board;
– Moving on to Klaipėda for an advertising conference with international professionals;
– Going further to Nida, where participants are briefed, mentored and judged by top-class creatives from Lithuania and abroad;
– All above, combined with the amazing camping experience in the wild of Curonian Spit;
– And finally, if all is well, winning a double scholarship (7700 Eur in total) to join Creativity in Advertising course starting on the 14th of October, 2019.

Bruno Ribeiro is an award-winning art director and creative director with over 22 years’ experience in the advertising industry. He has worked in game-changing agencies in his native Brazil, Portugal, Spain, and the UK.

After helping Leo Burnett Lisbon become the network’s most-awarded agency at Cannes in 2006 and 2009, he went on to help Ogilvy Brazil become that network’s second most-awarded office in 2010 and first in 2011. In his current role at MullenLowe London, he helped lead the agency to network’s most-awarded spot at Cannes 2016, with the Free the Kids campaign for Persil/OMO.

Bruno holds a postgraduate diploma in Digital Media Management from Hyper Island, where his experience helped him develop a sharper digital mindset, together with two years at AKQA London working for Nike and American Express. Bruno has also pursued several personal art projects, including Real Life Instagram, which he implemented in Manchester, London, São Paulo, and Tokyo, and has become a hit all over the Internet.

Throughout his career, Bruno has won over 100 awards in creative festivals around the world, visited 42 countries, been to three football World Cups and has had the time of his life.

Clare McNally is an award-winning Copywriter, Brand Strategist, Author and Educator who sees endless potential in brands and people. She recently founded McNally Unlimited©, a creative brand consultancy in Copenhagen — www.mcnally-unlimited.com

Clare has been a Guest Lecturer at the Danish School of Media and Journalism (DMJX) in Brand Creation, Art Direction, and Portfolio Presentation since 2011. She is also a speaker at a variety of conferences and industry events, including last year’s What’s Next? conference in Vilnius, where she spoke about Responsible Creativity.

Clare was previously Creative Director at Konstellation & Republica in Copenhagen and a copywriter at a variety of international advertising agencies including TBWA Hunt Lascaris Johannesburg and 180 Amsterdam. Her work has won international recognition at the Cannes International Advertising Festival, D&AD, The One Show, Archive, and Shots. She has been a jury member at the Cannes Festival of Creativity, Eurobest and the Balticbest Awards.

Antonio, the head of the Creativity course, took his first steps in advertising as a Copywriter at Leo Burnett Lima, later assumed the position of Senior Copywriter in the Peruvian branch of JWT.

After moving to Lithuania, continued his career at Not Perfect Y&R Vilnius, later – at The Milk, the most awarded agency in Baltics, where he spent 7 years starting as a Senior Copywriter leading to Creative Director.

Now Antonio works with international clients as a freelance senior copywriter / creative director and still shares his experience with TAG students.

Rimantas Stanevičius

Rimantas is the head of New Media at TAG Vilnius. Throughout his career, he has worked with brands from every industry one can imagine. P&G, Philip Morris, Ikea, Eurosport, L’Oreal. Retail, politics and financial services. Milk, seven times agency of the year in Lithuania, number one agency in the Baltics for three consecutive years and a holder of the creative case at Golden Hammer, has been working with Telco brands in throughout the Baltics and in most of CIS countries.

Having a psychology and communication science background Rimantas is currently pursuing his EMBA at the Berlin School of Creative Leadership, playing accordion and doing triathlons.

Aistė likes to experiment in literature and poetry. She is also the author of one of the best design blogs for children in Lithuania.

Arnas Aukštikalnis

Arnas started his career in advertising at Cannes Lions 2009. Although he visited the festival as a journalist back then, right after that Arnas decided to dive into advertising. He started his career as a creative at Gaumina, then continued his career as an art director at Milk Agency and now he is the Creative Director at DDB Vilnius.
Arnas’ decision to switch fields back in 2009 was probably great as now his portfolio is not only filled with Adrenalinas laureates such as ERGO’s Timeless Insurance but also massive campaigns such as the introduction of Telia brand.

Mantas Velykis

Mantas grew up at the time when people were still clicking banners because of excitement – now he is is bringing back the excitement to the internet with ads. Together with students, he tries to find out fundamentals of advertisements you would not want to scroll down.

Mantas’ experience in advertising industry counts 7 seven years: MILK, The Chocolate, Clinic 212 and bunch of other agencies.

For past several years, he’s been working with top brands in Lithuania and his great performance earned him awards in Golden Hammer, Baltic Best, Password, Adrenalinas, Login and even in PR!

Tomas Karpavičius

Since the start of his career in 1998 as a designer, Tomas quickly moved to become an art director in Adell Saatchi&Saatchi in 2001.

He later worked in Not Perfect Y&R, Leo Burnett (now Milk), and after almost a decade returned to Adell Taivas Ogilvy as a senior art director.

There, since 2011, Tomas is the Creative Director and oversees work of 7 creative teams. He enjoys watching this agency go through fantastic growth and recognition as well as brilliant awards performance.

Angelina Stabingienė

Angelina is responsible for information preparation for tourism projects organized by Neringa Municipality, involving tourism marketing and development in the region. Also, culture and tourism publicity actions with the aim of development of culture and tourism in Neringa as well as the implementation of tourism strategy and marketing plans of tourism are also her main responsibilities.

  • The Atomic Garden Vilnius owns all rights to the ideas that will be created and presented by participating teams during Creative Brief Contest.
  • Participation is in teams of two. The ones who register as individual participants will be able to pair up during the first day of the event.
  • Winner team (two participants) will be announced on the last day of Creative Brief Contest and will be awarded scholarships (3850 Eur * 2 = 7700 Eur) to take place in the upcoming Creativity in Advertising course at The Atomic Garden Vilnius. The course starts on the 14th of October, 2019. Duration – 6 months.
  • All ideas created and presented during the workshop must be in English. They will be evaluated by an international jury.
  • By accepting these terms & conditions, the participant acknowledges that Creativity in Advertising course is a full-time portfolio program which takes 6 months to be accomplished. In the case of winning, the participant will be able to postpone or quit his/her current occupation to enter the course which starts on the 14th of October, 2019.
